On the first working day of the week, the Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE), the main capital market of the country, is trading in a negative trend. 142 crore of taka were traded in two hours on this day. Meanwhile, the share price of 294 companies decreased.
According to sources, the main index of DSE or ‘DSEX’ increased by 34.0 points to 5 thousand 198 points till 12 pm after the start of trading of DSE on Tuesday (December 10).
Along with the main indices, the Shariah Index or ‘DSES’ increased by 7.94 points and the ‘DSE-30’ index increased by 11.98 points to stands at 1162 and 1916 points respectively.
A total of 142 crore shares and units were traded in DSE during the discussion.
Among the traded companies, 293 companies rose, 47 fell and 57 remained unchanged.
