Mansur Alam, Pabna:A consumer awareness meeting was held by the Pabna district branch of the Consumers Association of Bangladesh (CAB).
The event was held at 11 am on Tuesday in the hall room of Selim Nazir High School in Dilapur in the city.
Assistant Commissioner and Executive Magistrate of Pabna District Commissioner’s Office, Sumaiya Tasneem, delivered the speech as the chief guest.
Mahmud Hasan Rony, Assistant Director of the National Consumer Rights Protection Department, Pabna, delivered a speech as a special guest under the chairmanship of the organization’s president ABM Fazlur Rahman.
Moderated by General Secretary SM Mahbub Alam, the school’s headmaster Yakub Ali, former guardian member of the school managing committee Shahidul Islam Lalu, owner of MS Food Mahbubul Alam Faruk and member Umme Salma Kohinoor, and 10th grade student Riyad Khan also spoke.
The program was attended by CNF TV Chairman Khaled Ahmed, Sadar Upazila Correspondent of Daily Sarejmin Barta Hridoy Hossain, all the teachers and guardians of the school, including about 200 students.
At the beginning of the program, the school’s religious teacher, Maulana Sorhab Hossain, recited from the Holy Quran.
