B Mirror Report: Bangladesh Petroleum Corporation (BPC) has increased the supply of fuel oil across the country, with higher sales set to begin from Monday, April 20.
In a statement issued on Sunday, BPC said the decision was taken to ensure adequate fuel supply at both dealer and consumer levels in line with current demand.
Under the new directive, the supply of octane will be increased by 20 percent, while petrol and diesel will see a 10 percent rise.
According to BPC, its subsidiary companies have been instructed to maintain the enhanced supply levels to keep the fuel market stable.
From Monday, daily sales will stand at 13,048 metric tons of diesel, 1,511 metric tons of petrol, and 1,422 metric tons of octane.
