B Mirror Report : Applications for stall assignments at the Amar Ekushey Book Fair are being accepted by Bangla Academy. Dr. Md. Selim Reza, Secretary of the Amar Ekushey Book Fair 2026 Management Committee, signed the announcement on January 16.
The notice stated that genuine publishing houses interested in participating in Amar Ekushey Book Fair 2026 are requested to submit their stall applications online at www.ba21bookfair.com.
Returning publishers who participated in the 2025 fair and wish to retain their previous stall size (1, 2, 3, or 4-unit stalls or pavilions) can submit applications online from January 18 to January 25.
Applicants must upload the following documents along with their application: an updated trade license, income tax certificate, the first and last pages of the most recent author contract, recent proof of honoraria paid to authors, a receipt/certificate of books submitted to the Archives and Libraries Department, and proof of fire-cyclone insurance.
New publishing houses, or those seeking a larger stall or pavilion than previously allotted, can collect and submit the application form and required documents (including at least 30 quality books published by December 2025) from January 20 to January 26, between 10:00 am and 6:00 pm, at the reception of Dr. Muhammad Shahidullah Building, Bangla Academy. The Book Fair Management Committee will allocate stalls after verifying the quality of books and other documents.
Publishers unable to submit online can submit applications directly. The Management Committee will verify all applications both online and in-person and publish the final list on January 31.
Stall rent must be deposited in the bank and the receipt uploaded between February 1 and February 9, along with submitting one copy at the reception of Dr. Muhammad Shahidullah Building. Applications without timely payment will not be included in the lottery list.
Payments must be made through any online branch of Agrani Bank PLC to the account:
“Bangla Academy Amar Ekushey Book Fair Savings Account No. 0200014049231” at Agrani Bank PLC, Bangla Academy branch. The deposit receipt must include the publisher’s name and online registration number.
Participating publishers must comply with the rules and regulations of Amar Ekushey Book Fair 2026, which are available on the official website.
