Big deal of six companies on the block

On the third working day of the week, Tuesday (August 13), 48 companies participated in trading in the block market of the Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE). A total of Tk 48 crore 11 lakh 21 thousand shares were traded in these institutions. Among these, the shares of six companies were seen to be traded the most. This information is known from DSE sources.

The institutions are – Sunlife Insurance, City Bank, Pragati Life Insurance, Square Pharma, ICB Islamic Bank, and Agni Systems Limited. Today, the total shares of these six companies have been traded for more than 34 crore 5 lakh taka.

It is known that Sunlife Insurance has the most transactions among the companies. On this day, 7 crore 69 lakh 62 thousand shares of the company were traded.

The second highest share of City Bank was traded worth Tk 7 crore 28 lakh 78 thousand.

Pragati Life Insurance is in the third position by trading shares worth Tk 6 crore 72 lakh 74 thousand.

Among other companies – shares of Square Pharma worth Tk 5 crore 1 lakh 60 thousand, ICB Islamic Bank Tk 3 crore 98 lakh 58 thousand, and Agni Systems Limited Tk 3 crore 34 lakh 60 thousand taka were traded.
