On the second working day of the week, Tuesday (02 July), 48 companies participated in the block market of the Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE). A total of 34 crore 44 lakh 18 thousand shares of these companies were traded. Among these, the shares of five companies were seen to be the most traded. This information is known from DSE sources.

The companies are – Pragati Life Insurance, Express Insurance, Lavello Ice Cream, BRAC Bank, and Central Insurance Company Limited. Today, the total shares of these five companies have traded more than 19 crore 70 lakh taka.

It is known that Pragati Life Insurance has the most transactions among the companies. On this day, the shares of the company were traded worth Tk 7 crore 6 lakh 78 thousand.

The second highest share of Express Insurance was traded worth Tk 3 crore 38 lakh 92 thousand.

And Lavello Ice Cream is in the third position by trading shares worth Tk 1 crore 18 lakh 95 thousand.

Among other companies – shares of BRAC Bank worth Tk 3 crore 15 lakh 76 thousand and Central Insurance Company Limited Tk 2 crore 90 lakh 12 thousand were traded.
