Bata Shoe’s revenue fell by 37 percent.

Listed Bata Su Limited has released the unaudited financial report for the second quarter (April’24-June’24) ended on June 30, 2024.

It was released after reviewing and approving the financial report for the second quarter of the current financial year at the company’s board meeting held on Tuesday (July 30).

According to sources, the company’s earnings per share (EPS) in the second quarter of the current financial year has been Tk 13.73 paisa. In the same period of the previous year, the income was 22.11 paisa. The company’s income has decreased by 37 percent compared to the same period of the previous year.

In the first two quarters of the financial year i.e. in 6 months (January’24-June’24) the income of the company has been 27 taka 16 paisa. 32.07 paisa was earned during the same period last year.

At the end of the second quarter ended on June 30, 2024, the company’s net asset value per share (NAVPS) stood at Tk 265.08 paisa.
