Bata Shoe Company (Bangladesh) Limited, which is listed on the stock exchange in the tannery sector, has released its unaudited financial report for the third quarter (July–September 2025), which concluded on September 30, 2025. The reporting quarter saw a 12.95 percent increase in the company’s loss per share over the same period last year.
The report was released following a board of directors meeting held on Tuesday (October 28), where the financial statements for the third quarter of the current fiscal year were reviewed and approved, according to company sources.
As per the report, the company recorded a loss of Tk 10.55 per share in the third quarter of the current fiscal year, compared to a loss of Tk 9.34 per share in the same period last year.
For the first nine months (January–September 2025) of the fiscal year, the company’s earnings per share (EPS) stood at Tk 9.32, down from Tk 17.81 during the corresponding period of the previous year.
As of September 30, 2025, the company’s net asset value (NAV) per share was Tk 219.04.
