Awareness Meeting on Consumer Rights Protection Act held

Mrinal Kanti Roy, Tangail : The program was organized by the district administration at the conference room of the Deputy Commissioner on Wednesday morning (May 20). The meeting was presided over by Additional Deputy Commissioner (General) Md Abdullah Al Mamun. At that time, Assistant Director of Directorate of National Consumer Rights Protection Tangail Asaduzzaman Rumel discussed the Consumer Rights Protection Act 2009 along with displaying pictures.

Additional Deputy Commissioner Md Mahbub Hasan, Assistant Commissioner and Executive Magistrate Md Mohaiminul Islam, Tangail DSB Sharif Ahmed, General Secretary of CAB District Branch Abu Zubair Ujjal and others spoke at the program. The speakers said that in addition to the law, it is important for consumers to be aware of consumer rights. And for this awareness, the speakers urgently urged the National Consumer Directorate to campaign at different levels. The presidents and secretaries of various market committees and leaders of the Bus Coach Mini Bus Owners Association were present at the program.
