Asiatic Laboratories Ltd, a company listed on the stock market, has decided to construct a 32-storey high-tech building in the Tejgaon commercial area of Dhaka. The company’s Board of Directors has approved the building construction, according to a disclosure by the Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE).
Sources indicate that the new high-rise, to be named “Time Square, Dhaka,” will be built on a 20-katha plot located at 159/A, Tejgaon Commercial Area.
The decision was formalized on Saturday (September 27) at the headquarters of Asiatic Laboratories Ltd. The project involves a joint venture agreement between:
- Asiatic Laboratories Ltd (landowner),
- Headroom Ltd (Bangladesh-based consultant), and
- China State Construction Engineering Corporation (CSCEC) for the construction of the building.
