Al-Arafah Islami Bank signs agreement with medical college

Al-Arafah Islami Bank PLC, country’s one of the leading Shariah-based banks, has signed a Memorandum of Understanding recently with Dhaka Central International Medical College and Hospital. Under this agreement, the bank’s directors, officers and employees, all cardholders (including EMI facilities) and their dependent family members will get special discount benefits on various healthcare services at the hospital.

Managing Director and CEO of the Bank Mohd. Rafat Ullah Khan was present as chief guest at the event. At the same time, the bank’s Deputy Managing Director and Chief Business Officer Mohammed Hossain, Senior Assistant Vice President Md. Amdadul Haque, Bassu Sheikh, and Assistant Vice President Abu Kawser were present.

Chief Operating Officer Md. Nasir Uddin, Head of Marketing Hadiul Karim, Senior Assistant Manager and Zonal In-Charge Md. Musa Ali and Executive-Corporate Marketing Md. Raisul Islam were present on behalf of the hospital.

Officials from both institutions expressed hope that this MoU will play an important role in expanding healthcare and banking facilities and ensure better and easier services for customers. In addition, Al-Arafah Islami Bank will provide various hospital collection services through their branches across the country.
