Al-Arafah Islami Bank inaugurates Training Workshop

A 3-day training workshop titled ‘General Banking Management’ at Al-Arafah Islami Bank has begun at the Bank’s Training Institute. Managing Director (CC) Mohd. Rafat Ullah Khan inaugurated the Workshop as the chief guest on Tuesday, July 8, 2025.

In his address as the chief guest, Mohd. Rafat Ullah Khan highlighted that Al-Arafah Islami Bank has always been committed to customer service based on human values ​​and Islamic Shariah. I believe that today’s training course will be helpful in developing the knowledge and skills of the participants in basic banking services such as account opening, deposit and withdrawal, check handling, cash transactions, remittance, customer service, IT management, and Shariah-based account management. I hope that through this training workshop, the skills of the concerned officers will be further enhanced and it will play an important role in further improving the quality of customer service.

He further remarked that “Customers are not only depositors of our Bank, but they are our trust, respect and future strength. Therefore, every branch officer and employee must maintain sincere behavior and professionalism in order to achieve customer satisfaction.”

The training workshop was presided over by the Principal of Al-Arafah Islami Bank Training Institute (AIBTI) Md. Abdur Rahim Duary. Senior Vice President Touhid Siddique, Senior Assistant Vice President Saif Mohammad Zulkar Naeen were also present at the workshop. 47 officer trainees from various branches participated in the workshop.
