Al-Arafah Islami Bank holds training on foreign exchange trade

A three-day training course titled “Foreign Exchange and International Trade” was held at the Training Institute (AIBTI) of Al-Arafah Islami Bank. On Wednesday, March 13, 2026 the bank’s Managing Director & CEO of the Bank Mohd. Rafat Ullah Khan was present at the training workshop as the chief guest.

In his inaugural speech, Mohd. Rafat Ullah Khan highlighted the significant role of foreign exchange and international trade operations in ensuring the overall growth of the Bank. He encouraged the participating officials to effectively address the current and future challenges of international trade, as well as enhance their professional skills to operate Sharia-based banking services in a more effective, modern and customer-friendly manner.

The training workshop was presided over by the Senior Executive Vice President & Principal of Al-Arafah Islami Bank Training Institute (AIBTI) Md. Abdur Rahim Duary. Senior Assistant Vice President Md. Mazharul Alom, Assistant Vice President Md. Jashim Uddin and senior officials were present at the workshop.A total of 49 officers from the bank’s head office and different branches participated as trainees in the training workshop.

The workshop is expected to play a significant role in enhancing the participants’ necessary skills for conducting international trade transactions smoothly and securely.
