Al-Arafah Islami Bank PLC, one of the country’s leading Shariah-based banks, is continuing its annual humanitarian initiative by distributing blankets among cold-affected people during the winter season. As part of this program, Managing Director and CEO Mohd. Rafat Ullah Khan distributed blankets on Sunday, January 4, 2026.

Deputy Managing Directors Md. Abdullah Al Mamun, Md. Asaduzzaman Bhuiyan, and Mohammed Hossain, Senior Executive Vice President Engineer Md. Habib Ullah, Executive Vice President Jalal Ahmed and Md. Zakir Hossain Bhuiyan, Senior Vice President Md. Rafiqul Islam along with other senior executives were present at the program organized at the Bank’s Head Office.

Al-Arafah Islami Bank is distributing a total of 130,000 blankets nationwide during the current winter season under its CSR program. These blankets are being distributed through the Honorable Chief Advisor’s welfare fund along with branches, sub-branches, and agent outlets of the Bank across the country.
