Akij Telecom launches four internationally recognized AIoT brands

B Mirror Desk : Akij Telecom Limited has officially launched four internationally recognized AIoT brands in Bangladesh, providing advanced technology to local consumers and aiding the growth of the mobile device and gadget sector. A launch event was held at Banani Club in Dhaka on April 23, 2025, with Sheikh Jasim Uddin, Managing Director and CEO of AKIJ Resource, serving as the chief guest. G M Kamrul Hassan, CEO of Akij Telecom Ltd., was also in attendance, along with Mohammad Toufiqul Islam, Country Director of Wanlin Tech Bangladesh, and other senior officials. Paul, the Global Manager of Wanlin Tech, participated in the event virtually. The four brands introduced are Philips, Transformers, Monster, and Airmars, all known for their innovative and high-quality smart technology. Akij Telecom has entered into a royalty agreement with the multinational Shenzhen Wanlin Technology Co., Ltd. to operate these brands in Bangladesh. Sheikh Jasim Uddin remarked, ‘Akij Telecom’s collaboration with Shenzhen Wanlin to introduce these globally trusted brands to Bangladesh is praiseworthy. This initiative represents a significant step towards advancing the nation into a smarter, more connected future.’ G M Kamrul Hassan, CEO of Akij Telecom Ltd., expressed, ‘We are thrilled to be the first to bring these internationally acclaimed brands to Bangladesh.
