Al-Arafah Islami Bank (AIB) PLC. has opened the 219th branch at Rowmari of Kurigram on Thursday.
Managing Director and CEO of the Bank Farman R. Chowdhury inaugurated the new Branch as Chief Guest, reads a press release.
Former State Minister of Primary and Mass Education Zakir Hossain, Rowmari Upazila Nirbahi Officer Nahid Hasan Khan, Deputy Managing Director of the Bank Abdullah Al-Mamun, Senior Executive Vice President Engr. Habib Ullah, Kurigram Zila Council Member and President of thana Jubo League Kadam Ali and Kartimari Bazar central Mosque president Mostafizur Rahman spoke at the branch opening ceremony.
Bogura Zonal Head and Executive Vice President A. N. M. Mufidul Islam presided over the ceremony. Executive Vice President and Head of PRD Jalal Ahmed conducted the ceremony.
A large number of local people and well-wishers were present in the inauguration ceremony. Rowmari Branch Manager Abdur Rouf thanked the audience.
