The Central Committee of Officers Kalyan Samity of Bangladesh Krishi Bank observed the 45th martyrdom anniversary of Shaheed President Ziaur Rahman through a prayer gathering and floral tribute ceremony at Zia Uddan Dhaka.

The programme was attended by officials and employees of the bank from different levels, who paid their respects to the late president. Participants observed a moment of silence and offered prayers for the peace of his departed soul at the beginning of the event.

As part of the observance, wreaths were placed at the portrait of Shaheed President Ziaur Rahman in recognition of his contributions to the nation.

The ceremony was led by the association’s Vice Chairman, Liaquat Hossain. Among those present were Secretary Md. Nur-e-Alam Shaon, AGM Mohammad Jahid, Md. Nurul Alam, Md. Mamnur Rashid, SPO Md. Tofazzal Hossain, and other leaders and members of the organization.

Speakers at the event recalled Ziaur Rahman’s role in the country’s history and emphasized the importance of honoring national leaders with due respect and dignity.

The programme concluded with special prayers seeking eternal peace for the late president and continued progress and prosperity for Bangladesh.
