Afser Kalyan Samity, Bangladesh Krishi Bank Central Committee, has observed the 45th martyrdom anniversary of Shaheed President Ziaur Rahman through a solemn prayer and floral tribute ceremony at the Shishu Park premises in Shahbagh, Dhaka. The event was held on May 30, 2026, following a program organized at the Shishu Park premises. Officials and employees of all levels of the bank attended the ceremony and paid deep respect to the memory of the late president. At the beginning of the program, participants observed a moment of silence and offered prayers for the departed soul. Later, wreaths were placed at the portrait of Shaheed President Ziaur Rahman as a mark of respect. The ceremony was led by Vice Chairman of the committee, Liaquat Hossain. Among those present were Secretary Md. Nur-e-Alam Shaon, AGM Mohammad Jahid, Md. Nurul Alam, Md. Mamnur Rashid, SPO Md. Tofazzal Hossain, and other leaders and members of the organization. Speakers at the event paid tribute to Ziaur Rahman’s contribution to the nation and highlighted the importance of remembering national leaders with respect and dignity. The program concluded with prayers seeking peace for the departed soul and continued prosperity for the country.
