Action against company not paying dividend on Time-BSEC.

The regulatory body Bangladesh Securities and Exchange Commission (BSEC) will take legal action against those companies who have not distributed the declared dividend within the specified period.

As per law, dividends declared by listed companies have to be distributed within 30 working days.

There are complaints that various companies do not send the dividend within the stipulated time even after declaring the dividend. And this trend has been going on for a long time.

The affected investors have also complained to the capital market regulatory body BSEC in this regard. In view of all these, BSEC has taken such a decision today.

This decision was taken in the commission meeting of BSEC on Wednesday (August 28).
