Anvir Bashundhara Group Foundation stands by the helpless elderly man

B.Mirror Report: After the news was published about the elderly Hemayet Molla, who was lying unidentified on the side of the road in the Panichat area of ​​Madaripur city, the Anvir Bashundhara Group Foundation (ABG Foundation) has extended financial assistance for his treatment. At the same time, his relatives found him after seeing the news and took him back home.
Hemayet Molla, aged about 70, was seen lying helpless in the Panichat area of ​​Madaripur Municipality for a few days. Due to his age, illness and physical weakness, he was unable to walk properly. Even though passersby gave him food and water, his identity could not be known.
Later, with the help of Bangladesh Red Crescent Society volunteers, local youth and news workers, he was rescued and admitted to Madaripur Sadar Hospital. After the news was published in a national daily newspaper on the matter, On Wednesday, Anvir Bashundhara Group Foundation (ABG Foundation) provided financial assistance for the treatment of the elderly man.
Seeing the news, the old man’s relatives also found him and came to Madaripur Sadar Hospital and confirmed his identity, saying that the old man Hemayet Molla is a resident of Banargati Al-Amin Kandi in Swadanga Upazila of Khulna district.
Later, in the presence of the hospital’s social service officer Shyamal Pandey and district probation officer BM Asaduzzaman, the old man Hemayet was handed over to his sons Tarek Hossain Molla, Faruk Molla and grandson Monirul Islam to be taken home to his family.
Madaripur Sadar Hospital’s social service officer Shyamal Pandey said that after the news was published in a national daily newspaper , the old man’s relatives found him and came to the hospital to take him. At the same time, the Anvir Bashundhara Group Foundation (ABG Foundation) has provided financial assistance for the old man’s treatment. Their humanitarian initiative is truly commendable.
Madaripur District Probation Officer BM Asaduzzaman said, “The way Anvir Bashundhara Group Foundation (ABG Foundation) stood by the helpless old man after the news was published is undoubtedly commendable. Their humanitarian initiative is a positive example for the society.”
The old man’s son, Tarek Hossain Molla, said, “We are grateful to Anvir Bashundhara Group Foundation (ABG Foundation) for standing by my father and providing medical assistance.”
