Mrinal Kanti Roy, Tangail Correspondent: A meeting of the District Road Safety Committee on traffic congestion relief was held in Tangail to ensure the safe journey of people returning home on the occasion of the holy Eid-ul-Fitr 2025. The meeting was held in the conference room of the District Commissioner’s office on Wednesday morning, March 19. Deputy Commissioner & District Magistrate Sharifa Haque presided over the meeting. At that time, the Deputy Commissioner said that to ensure the Eid journey, a control room should be established in coordination with all the departments and that people should be straightforward about enjoying the joy of Eid without any untoward incident. Local Government Deputy Director Md Shihab Rayhan, Additional Deputy Commissioner Md Abdullah Al Mamun, Additional Superintendent of Police Raqibul hasan rashel, Additional Deputy Commissioner Md Mahbub Hasan, Assistant Director (Engineering) Mahatab Uddin Ahamed, Motor Vehicle Inspector Anamul Haque emon, leaders of the Bus Owners’ Association and officials of various departments of the district were present in the meeting.
