A distinguished client opened a Cash Waqf A/C of Tk 51 Lakh in Social Islami Bank PLC Mohmmadpur Branch

Internationally renowned academician Dr. S.M. Shafiqul Islam and Mrs. Shakila Shawkat Jahan have jointly opened a Cash Waqf account of Tk 51 lakh at Mohammadpur Branch of Social Islami Bank PLC on March 16, 2025.  Mr. Md. Nazmus Saadat, Acting Managing Director of Social Islami Bank PLC handed over the Cash Waqf certificate to Dr. S.M. Shafiqul Islam. The event was attended by Mrs. Zafrin Khandker, Manager, Mohammadpur Branch and Syed Joynul Abedin, Head of the Shariah Supervisory Committee Secretariat of the Bank. This initiative reflects the commitment of promoting socio-economic welfare and charitable activities of the bank in accordance with Islamic principles.
