Pubali Bank’s 42 officials honoured at bancassurance conference

With the objective of strengthening and expanding bancassurance activities, exchanging professional experiences and ensuring more effective access to integrated banking and insurance services for customers, Delta Life Insurance Company Limited recently organized a three-day “Bancassurance Conference-2025” at Grand Sultan Tea Resort & Golf in Sreemangal.

Mohammad Ali, Managing Director of Pubali Bank PLC., attended the conference as the Chief Guest. The conference was presided over by Uttam Kumar Sadhu, CEO of Delta Life Insurance Company Limited. Special Guests included Safiul Alam Khan Chowdhury, Consultant, Delta Life; and Md. Shahnewaz Khan, Deputy Managing Director, Pubali Bank PLC. Also present were Milton Bepari, Deputy Managing Director & CFO, Delta Life Insurance Company Limited; and Md. Faizul Hoque Sharif, General Manager & Chief Bancassurance Officer, Pubali Bank PLC., along with senior officials of both organizations.

In his address as the Chief Guest, Mohammad Ali, Managing Director of Pubali Bank PLC., said that the expansion of bancassurance alongside conventional banking services has created an opportunity to provide customers with a broader range of financial solutions. He called upon bankers to work sincerely towards further expanding bancassurance activities. He emphasized that stronger collaboration between the banking and insurance sectors can facilitate easier access to need-based financial services for customers.

At the conference, 9 officials of Pubali Bank PLC. were awarded “Best Performer of the Year” recognition and 33 officials received certificates of appreciation in recognition of their outstanding performance in bancassurance business in 2025. The conference also featured discussions on the performance and achievements of bancassurance business, recognition of successful officials, and future strategies and action plans.

The speakers expressed the view that such initiatives would not only recognize the achievements of successful officials but also strengthen collaboration between the banking and insurance sectors and create greater opportunities to make life insurance services more accessible to customers.
