Al-Arafah Islami Bank PLC, country’s one of the leading Shariah-based banks, has signed a Memorandum of Understanding with Filon Poultry & Fish Feeds PLC. Under the agreement, Filon Poultry & Fish Feeds will collect sales prices from its distributors through the bank’s branches, sub-branches and other distribution channels by connecting through the bank’s Application Programming Interface (API).

On Wednesday, April 8, 2026 Deputy Managing Director of the Bank Md. Abdullah Al Mamun and Philone Poultry & Fish Feeds Chairman Muhammad Kamrul Islam signed the agreement on behalf of their respective organizations at a ceremony held at the Bank’s Head Office.

Senior Assistant Vice President Md. Amdadul Haque, Bassu Sheikh, Assistant Vice President Aysha Parvin, Senior Principal Officer Nazmul Hossain, and Advisor of Filon Poultry and Fish Feeds S. M. Fakhrul Alam along with senior officials from both institutions were present at the signing ceremony.

This agreement will ensure more effective and secure collection management for corporate customers through innovative use of banking technology.
