Southeast Bank Automates Credit Documentation, Load Functions

The Credit Administration Division (CAD) of Southeast Bank PLC. (SEBPLC) hosted an event on January 28, 2026, to mark the successful completion of its full centralization and automation of documentation and limit loading functions. This strategic engagement significantly improves operational efficiency and strengthens the bank’s commitment to compliance as well as sustainable and environmentally responsible banking practices.

The ceremony was graced by Chairman of Southeast Bank PLC., Mr. M. A. Kashem as Chief Guest accompanied by Mr. Md. Khalid Mahmood Khan, Managing Director and CEO, Additional Managing Directors, Deputy Managing Directors, divisional heads, and all branch managers.

During the event, the Head of the Division, Mr. Kamrul Islam, presented achievements of CAD in 2025. Mr. Khairul Anam Mohiuddin, CSA, CFFP, Deputy Head of CAD, in his opening speech detailed the strategic planning and execution involved in achieving the automation and centralization goals, emphasizing their role in reducing the bank’s internal carbon footprint through paper waste elimination and enhanced online communication.

Additional Managing Directors and Managing Director offered motivational speeches, providing strategic guidance to attending officials for future advancements, including the bank’s strong commitment to achieving a leadership position in “Green Banking Initiative”.

In closing remarks, Chairman Mr. M. A. Kashem articulated his vision to elevate SEBPLC’s service and compliance standards, positioning it as a pioneer banking institution that integrates environmental consciousness into its core operations.

The event concluded on an optimistic note, reinforcing the division’s commitment to leveraging these new capabilities to achieve future organizational objectives and contribute to a more sustainable economy.
