Prayer and Milad Mahfil Held at Bangladesh Krishi Bank

As part of the three-day state mourning declared by the Government of the People’s Republic of Bangladesh following the demise of Begum Khaleda Zia, the country’s first woman Prime Minister and a three-time successful Prime Minister, Bangladesh Krishi Bank organized a special Doa and Milad Mahfil on January 1, 2026, seeking forgiveness for her departed soul and the completion of recitation of the Holy Quran.

The Doa and Milad Mahfil, held at the bank’s head office, recalled the late leader’s illustrious career and her contributions to the development of the country. Special prayers were offered during the munajat for the eternal peace and forgiveness of her departed soul.

Senior executives of the bank, along with officers and employees from all levels, were present at the Doa and Milad Mahfil.
