DBA Welcomes Tarique Rahman

B Mirror Report : Tarique Rahman, the Acting Chairman of the Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP), is set to return to his homeland tomorrow, Thursday (25 December), after nearly 17 years. On the occasion of his homecoming, the country’s capital market stockbrokers’ organization, the DSE Brokers Association of Bangladesh (DBA), has welcomed him.

On Wednesday (24 December), DBA President Saiful Islam welcomed Tarique Rahman in a statement issued on behalf of the organization. This information was conveyed in a press release signed by the organization’s Secretary, Md. Didarul Gani.

In the statement, Saiful Islam said that after nearly 17 years of waiting, Tarique Rahman is about to set foot on the soil of the country this is an important and joyful moment for the nation. “We are deeply pleased and excited about his return. We believe that his presence will bring relief to the country and its people, and at the same time help revive the nation’s capital market, which has long been facing challenges, thereby injecting new momentum into trade and commerce. On behalf of the DBA, we extend our heartfelt welcome and congratulations to him.”

At the same time, the statement expressed wishes for the good health and long life of Bangladesh’s former Prime Minister and BNP Chairperson, Begum Khaleda Zia. It also wished good health, success, and a prosperous future for her worthy successor, Tarique Rahman.
