Jamuna Bank Signs Foreign Remittance Drawing Agreement

Jamuna Bank PLC has recently entered into a Foreign Remittance Drawing Agreement with Horizon Remit Sdn Bhd in Malaysia, marking a significant milestone in strengthening its global remittance network. The partnership aims to enhance cross-border remittance services through mutual cooperation, improved operational synergy and a shared commitment to serving expatriate communities more efficiently.

Under this strategic agreement, Horizon Remit Sdn Bhd will actively promote Jamuna Bank PLC’s account-opening services and Wage Earners’ Remittance Bonds among Bangladeshi expatriates residing in Malaysia. This collaboration is expected to further accelerate the flow of secure, fast and reliable remittances to Bangladesh while expanding financial access for overseas Bangladeshis.

The signing ceremony was graced by key representatives from both organizations, including Mr. Abdul Wahab Bin Abdul Aziz, Chief Executive Officer of Horizon Remit Sdn Bhd and Mr. Md. Abdus Sobhan, Head of NRB Banking & FR Division, Jamuna Bank PLC. Other senior officials of Horizon Remit Sdn. Bhd. were also in attendance at the signing ceremony.
