Global Islami Bank Administrator holds meeting with Gulshan Corporate Branch customers

Global Islami Bank Administrator Md. Moksuduzzaman visited Gulshan Corporate Branch today, Sunday, November 16, 2025. During this time, he exchanged views with the customers on different issues. He informed everyone about the action plan taken by Bangladesh Bank to protect the interests of depositors, resolve the liquidity crisis and revive the trust of customers.
He said that Global Islami Bank is going to be a part of the ‘Sommilito Islami Bank’ consisting of five banks of the country. All the current customers of the bank will become customers of that new bank. He gave instructions to spread the message of the Honorable Governor of Bangladesh Bank among the customers in this regard. He also mentioned that Bangladesh Bank’s plan to return the deposits of customers at all levels will be informed to everyone soon. He urged everyone not to be confused by various propaganda on social media.
Gulshan Corporate Branch customer and former Navy Chief Rear Admiral Amin Ahmed Mustafa, former Deputy Governor of Bangladesh Bank Ataul Haque, former UN official Humayun Kabir, Chief Operating Officer of Unilliance Group Mosabbir Alam, Senior Manager of Gulshan Club Harunur Rashid and other distinguished customers were present at the meeting. Among others, the bank’s Associate Administrator Mohammad Shahjahan, Gulshan Corporate Branch Manager Md. Fakhrul Islam and branch officials were present at the time.
