Prime Bank PLC. has been awarded the ‘Fintech Innovation of the Year-Bank’ award in recognition of launching Bangladesh’s first Sign Language Call Service in the banking industry.

The award was presented to Prime Bank at the 3rd Bangladesh Fintech Award 2025, held during the closing ceremony of the 5th Bangladesh Fintech Summit at the Pan Pacific Sonargaon Hotel in Dhaka recently. A total of 26 innovative initiatives across 12 categories were honored at the Fintech Award ceremony.

Honorable Governor of Bangladesh Bank, Ahsan H. Mansur handed over the award to Prime Bank’s officials. Hassan O. Rashid, CEO of Prime Bank PLC, Md. Jashim Uddin, CFO and Shaila Abedin, Head of Liability, Prime Bank PLC. also presented at the event.

This pioneering initiative was introduced by Prime Bank to ensure banking services become more inclusive and accessible for speech and hearing impaired customers, setting a new benchmark in the country’s banking and Fintech landscape.
