All of the major stock exchanges in the nation, including the Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE), closed higher on the second trading day of the week. For 300 enterprises, prices increased, but overall monetary turnover decreased even more.
On Monday (October 20), the Dhaka Stock Exchange’s main index, the DSEX, rose 67.25 points to 5,111 points, according to DSE sources.
Furthermore, the DS30 index increased 27.65 points to 1,965 points, while the DSES index saw an increase of 18.86 points to 1,081 points.
Today, shares and units worth Tk 394.65 crore were traded on the DSE. On the previous trading day, turnover amounted to Tk 442.40 crore.
A total of 398 company shares and units were traded on the DSE during the day. Of the participating companies, share prices increased for 300, decreased for 53, and remained unchanged for 45 companies.
