Janata Bank PLC inaugurated its first sub-branch in Kendua upazila of Netrokona district.

The Kendua sub-branch was officially inaugurated by Md. Fayez Alam, Deputy Managing Director of Janata Bank. Kendua Upazila Nirbahi Officer (UNO) Inamul Haque Talukder was also present at the event.

Managing Director of the bank, Md. Mozibur Rahman, joined the event online as the chief guest and delivered his speech. The program was presided over by Farzana Khalek, General Manager of the Mymensingh Divisional Office.

Executives and officers from the divisional and area offices, local businessmen, distinguished guests, and journalists attended the inauguration ceremony.

With the launch of this first sub-branch in a remote area, Janata Bank PLC, one of the country’s largest commercial banks, has further expanded its banking services to underserved regions.
