AB Bank PLC organizes a ‘Closing & Certificate Awarding Ceremony’ after a month-long “Entrepreneurship Development Program”

AB Bank PLC recently concluded a month-long “Entrepreneur Development Program” in Barishal under the skills for Industry Competitiveness and Innovation Program (SICIP) funded by ADB, implemented by the Finance Division of the Ministry of Finance and under the direct supervision of SME & Special Programs Department of Bangladesh Bank.  During the event, certificates were awarded among 25 trained entrepreneurs and eligible applicants were given loans under open credit disbursement program.

The event was graced by Mr. Madhusudan Banik, Executive Director of Bangladesh Bank, Barishal Office as the chief guest. Mr. Imtiaz Ahmad Masum, Director, Bangladesh Bank Barishal Office, Mr. Md. Nazrul Islam, Additional Director and Program Director (SICIP-PIU), Mr. Ayub Ali, Joint Director and Deputy Program Director (SICIP-PIU) of Bangladesh Bank’s SME & Special Programs Department attended as a special guest. Mr. Z. M. Babar Khan, Additional Managing Director, AB Bank PLC chaired the ceremony. Mr. Iftekhar Enam Awal, Head of SME Banking, Mr. Md. Bakauddin Mia, Program Coordinator & Branch Manager of AB Bank, Barishal Branch, other senior officials from AB Bank and the 25 newly trained entrepreneurs from Barishal were also present on the occasion.
