Rajshahi Police Launches Traffic Fines via Community Bank

Thursday, September 25, 2025: To make traffic fine collection more transparent and convenient, Rajshahi District Police has launched e-Traffic Fine Collection in collaboration with Community Bank Bangladesh PLC. The initiative was formally launched following the signing of a bilateral agreement between Rajshahi District Police and Community Bank.

Rajshahi Range DIG Mr. Mohammad Shahjahan, PPM (Bar), PhD, witnessed the exchange of documents between Ms. Farzana Islam, Superintendent of Police, Rajshahi and Mr. Kimiwa Saddat, Managing Director (Current Charge), Community Bank Bangladesh PLC.

Now traffic fines can be paid using the Bank’s Debit Card, VISA Credit Cards or through MFS like bKash.

Among senior officials of the Bank, the event was graced by Dr. Md. Ariful Islam, Head of Corporate Banking & Head of Business (Branch); Mr. Zahir Ahmed, Head of Cards; Mr. Md. Mamun ur Rahman, Head of ADC & Head of MD’s Coordination Team; and Mr. Abdul Aziz, In-charge, Malopara Sub-branch, Rajshahi.
