RAK Ceramics (Bangladesh) Limited’s capital market category has been upgraded from “Z” to “A.” The Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE) disclosed this information, stating that the company sent the 10 percent cash dividend declared for the fiscal year ended December 31, 2024, to general investors, which resulted in the company’s upgrade to “A” category. The company will trade in the “A” category starting tomorrow, Tuesday, July 22. However, because of the category change, the DSE has barred brokerage houses and merchant banks from offering credit facilities to the company within the next seven working days.
