Shari`ah based Standard Bank PLC. organized an Orientation Program for its 11th Batch of Management Trainee Officers (MTOs) at the conference hall of Dhaka Chamber of Commerce & Industry on 03 July 2025. The honorable Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Bank Mr. Mohammed Abdul Aziz was present as the Chief Guest at the ceremony. Managing Director & CEO Md. Habibur Rahman presided over the program where Directors of the bank S.A.M. Hossain and Gulzar Ahmed were present as special guest. Md. Siddiqur Rahman, Deputy Managing Director along with Senior Executives of the bank were also present at the program. Mohammed Abdul Aziz, in his keynote address; welcomed the newly appointed MTOs to the world of Shari`ah based banking and advised them to uphold service culture, Islamic values and principles in every aspect of their professional life. Mr. Habibur emphasized the importance of adhering to Shari’ah principles and called upon the newcomers to devote themselves with their talent and dedication to ensure the overall growth of the bank.
