Special Correspondent: Younus Mridha has been awarded the prestigious Best Young Researcher Award 2025 at the internationally recognized International Royal Golden Award 2025, jointly organized by Eudoxia Research University (USA) and Eudoxia Research Centre (India). This global honor celebrates Mridha’s remarkable contributions to sustainable fashion and eco-friendly innovation, particularly in transforming environmental practices in the textile and garment industries.
Mridha’s awarded research, titled “Advancing Sustainable Fashion: Zero-Waste Strategies and Eco-Friendly Innovations for a Greener Textile and Garment Industry,” proposes actionable strategies for reducing industrial waste, minimizing environmental impact, and promoting the use of biodegradable and recycled materials in scalable production models. The project supports a shift toward circular fashion systems and sustainable manufacturing that benefits both the planet and economic resilience.
The selection process was conducted by the Central Organizing Committee of Tech Nova 2025, which included a distinguished panel of international academics and research leaders. Among them were Prof. Dr. Rhituraj Saikia, President of Eudoxia Research University (USA); Prof. Dr. Caleb Moyo, Vice Chancellor of Eudoxia Research University (USA); Prof. Dr. Dimitrios A. Karras, from the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens (Greece); Prof. Dr. Joseph Dunston, Academic Director at Eudoxia Research Centre (India); Prof. Dr. Rajesh G. Konnur, Pro Vice Chancellor of Eudoxia Research University (USA); Prof. Dr. Sukhwinder Singh, Registrar; and Prof. Dr. Pratisha Kumari, Vice President of Eudoxia Research University (USA).
The committee evaluated numerous global submissions based on originality, scientific relevance, sustainability impact, and potential for long-term positive change. Mridha’s research was selected for its deep alignment with international environmental goals and its practical applicability within the fashion industry
The award, officially registered under EDX/REG/RGF/05/2025-148, was conferred during a global two-day summit held on 30 May – 31 May 2025, attended by researchers, innovators, and academic leaders from over 30 countries. The event concluded with panel discussions, keynote sessions, and cultural showcases that celebrated international research excellence.
