Special Correspondent:At the prestigious “International Royel Golden Award” ceremony and the “International Conference on Emerging Trends in Technology, Science, and Multidisciplinary Innovation 2025 (TECHNOVA 2025),” held on May 30–31, Dr. Tufael was awarded two of the highest honors: Best Young Scientist Award and Best Inspirational Keynote Speaker Award. This globally significant event was organized by Eudoxia Research University (USA) and Eudoxia Research Centre (India), in collaboration with the Indian Institute of Innovation and Science (IIISc), Mumbai, and the Universal World Research Innovation Centre, London.
Dr. Tufael, a distinguished biochemist at the Ibn Sina Diagnostic and Imaging Center in Dhaka and PhD graduate from Parul University, India, was recognized for his groundbreaking research on the early diagnosis of Hepatocellular Carcinoma (HCC) using advanced biological markers. His work has brought new hope in the fight against liver cancer, significantly improving early detection strategies and diagnostic accuracy in clinical biochemistry.
More than 100 countries were represented at TECHNOVA 2025, with over 80 research papers presented and 45 keynote speeches delivered by renowned scientists and academics. Amidst this global gathering of scientific minds, Dr. Tufael’s achievements stood out for their innovation, practical application, and far-reaching impact on healthcare.
In addition to receiving the Best Young Scientist Award, Dr. Tufael captivated the audience with his powerful keynote address on “Clinical Manifestations of Dengue Fever in Bangladesh.” His talk highlighted the alarming rise in dengue cases in Dhaka, detailed its clinical symptoms, and shared critical insights into diagnostic and management strategies. His presentation was praised not only for its scientific rigor but also for its relevance to public health and disease control.
Dr. Tufael’s contributions to the field of clinical diagnostics have revolutionized laboratory practices in Bangladesh. His expertise in biomarker research, laboratory quality control, and diagnostic test development has elevated the standards of medical testing and led to more timely and accurate patient diagnoses. Through his leadership, the Ibn Sina Diagnostic Center has implemented high-precision diagnostic protocols and established new benchmarks in healthcare quality.
The award selection process was led by the Central Organizing Committee of TECHNOVA 2025, comprising globally respected scholars and institutional leaders. These included Prof. Dr. Rhituraj Saikia, President of Eudoxia Research University (USA), Prof. Dr. Caleb Moyo, Vice Chancellor, and other distinguished members from universities in Greece, India, and the UK. The committee evaluated submissions from around the world based on originality, scientific impact, sustainability, and long-term relevance. Dr. Tufael’s work was unanimously praised for its scientific merit and societal value.
