District representative : was held at the Central Conference Hall of Bangladesh Open University’s Gazipur Campus on Sunday, April 6 at 11:00 am in a joyful and festive atmosphere after the Eid-ul-Fitr 2025 holiday.

Bangladesh Open University Vice Chancellor Professor Dr. ABM Obaidul Islam, as the chief guest, exchanged greetings with teachers, officers and employees of all levels of the university.

In his speech at the Eid reunion program, the Vice Chancellor said, “Just as we celebrated the joy and festival of Eid in an atmosphere of mutual brotherhood and cordiality, in the same way, we, the Bangladesh Open University family, should celebrate a beautiful and peaceful Eid by maintaining cordiality and harmony.” A peaceful working environment must be created. He called on everyone to work unitedly to further advance the educational activities of this university by dedicating themselves to the greater welfare of the country and the nation.

The president’s speech was delivered by the university’s treasurer, Professor Dr. Abul Hasnat Mohd Shamim, wishing everyone a happy Eid-ul-Fitr. The special guest of honor was Professor Dr. Dil Rawshan Jinnat Ara Nazneen, BAU’s Pro-Vice-Chancellor (Education).and Pro-Vice-Chancellor (Administration) Professor Sayeed Ferdous PhD. The program was conducted and voted on by the University Registrar Dr. Maha Shafiqul Alam. Teachers, officers and employees from all levels of the university’s main campus were present at the time.
