On the occasion of the celebration of the day, a rally was held in front of the Deputy Commissioner’s office and after the rally, a discussion meeting was organized in the conference room of the Deputy Commissioner. Deputy Commissioner & District Magistrate Sharifa Haque spoke as the chief guest in the meeting. In her speech, the Deputy Commissioner said that to increase the dignity of women, they should be educated and called for self-respect.
