BVB recently organized a meeting in Motijheel.

Recently, a general assembly of bank and financial industry representatives met in Motijheel to establish a non-profit, non-political organization. The discussion was mediated by Mr. Mo Mahbubur Rahman, retired general manager of Janata Bank Plc. ‘Bankers Voice Bangladesh’ was established with the help of former Executive Director of Bangladesh Bank Mr. No Obaidul Haque as convener, retired MD of Rajshahi Agricultural Development Bank, and retired CEO & MD of SBAC Bank Mr. Mo Gholam Farooq as Member-Secretary. Through seminars, symposiums, roundtable discussions, and memorandums on a range of topics, such as all forms of discrimination, irregularities, and corruption in the banking and financial sector, the aforementioned organization seeks to draw the attention of the relevant authorities and inform the public.
