A report on six companies has been submitted by the investigation committee established by the Bangladesh Securities and Exchange Commission (BSEC). The names of these businesses have been made public by the BSEC. It hasn’t, however, disclosed any information regarding the report’s accountable parties.
The BSEC gave this information in a press release on Tuesday (February 11).
The release said that the ‘Investigation and Investigation Committee’ formed by the BSEC has already submitted six investigation reports to the commission regarding irregularities, manipulation and corruption in the past. Necessary enforcement activities are underway regarding the reports.
The six investigation reports that have been submitted are-
1. Beximco Green-Sukuk Al Istisna
2. All matters related to IFIC Granted Sripur Township Green Zero Coupon Bond Issue
3. Best Holdings Limited
4. Al-Amin Chemical Industries
5. Fortune Suze Limited and
6. Quest BDC Limited (formerly Padma Printers and Colors Limited).
Many current senior BSEC officials, two commissioners, and the former chairman of the BSEC commission have appeared in these companies. The report, however, has not been released by the BSEC.
