The savings paper service will be launched by Thursday

The customers are not able to withdraw the profit money of various schemes including the sale of savings certificates from last Thursday. Due to the software upgradation, the service of the savings card is now completely closed. Customers are suffering due to this.

The Director (Deputy Secretary) of the National Savings Directorate, Mohammad Shariful Islam, said that the software upgradation work is going on. It will take another day or two for the savings certificate service to be resumed. Hopefully, all types of savings certificate service activities will start by Thursday.

In the same context, the Assistant Director (Public Relations) of National Savings Department said. Masudur Rahman said that all types of savings card services have been closed since last Thursday. This is mainly due to software upgradation. We don’t see this in software. It is being looked after by the Finance Department of the Ministry of Finance. The Finance Department is working. Savings card service was supposed to be launched on Monday afternoon, but the service has not yet been launched, an official of Bangladesh Bank’s Motijheel office said, “We do not see the savings card issue.” It is being looked after by the National Savings Department.
