Feroz Ahmed and Md. Fazlur Rahman elected as Vice Chairmen of AB Bank

Mr. Feroz Ahmed and Mr. Md. Fazlur Rahman have been elected as the Vice Chairmen of the Board of Directors of AB Bank PLC. at the 802nd Board Meeting held on December 10, 2024.

Firoz Ahmed served as a Director of AB Bank’s Board of Directors. He is also the Chairman of Elite Paint Group and Managing Director of Elite International Limited, Hexagon Chemical Complex Limited and Ahmed Securities Services. Apart from business activities, Mr. Ahmed is also engaged with various Socio-Cultural, Philanthropic and Sports organizations.

Mr. Ahmed is a member of Board of Trustees of Chittagong Independent University and Chittagong Metropolitan Sports Association. He is also life member of Chittagong Zila Krira Sangstha, Red Crescent Society, Chittagong and Maa O Shishu Haspatal, Chittagong.

 

Mr. Fazlur Rahman joined AB Bank Board as Director in October 9, 2024. Before joining this role, he was the Chairman of AB Investment Limited and AB Securities Limited. He served as President and Managing Director of AB Bank from April 2012 to January 2014, where his visionary leadership guided the institution through pivotal financial milestones.

A Chartered Accountant with an MBA in Banking, Mr. Rahman is recognized for his profound understanding of banking operations, strategic planning, and financial analysis. His leadership has been instrumental in steering organizations through short-term market fluctuations while ensuring sustainable long-term growth.
