On the fourth working day of the week, the Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE), the country’s main stock market, is trading on rising indices. The main index of DSE increased by 42 points in the first two hours of trading on this day. More than 300 million Taka were traded during this time.
According to sources, on Wednesday (November 6), two hours after the start of DSE trading,. till 12 noon, the main index of DSE or ‘DSEX’ increased by 42.58 points to 5,407 points.
Along with the main index, the Shariah Index or ‘DSES’ has increased by 16.30 points and the ‘DS-30’ index has increased by 12.55 points and stands at 1207 and 1980 points respectively.
A total of Tk. 307 crore 73 lakh shares and units were traded in DSE during the discussion period.
Among the traded companies, the share prices of 175 companies increased, 153 companies decreased and 65 companies remained unchanged.
