The retail price of bottled soybean oil has been fixed at Tk 204 per litre following a decision taken at a meeting between the Commerce Ministry and edible oil traders.
The meeting reviewed the latest market situation, including international edible oil prices and import costs.
Commerce Secretary Md. Ataur Rahman Khan announced the decision at a press conference at the Ministry of Commerce in Dhaka on Wednesday, saying the new price was determined after assessing prevailing market conditions and other relevant factors.
