On the last working day of the week, the main stock market of the country, Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE), is trading in a negative trend. In the first hour and a half, 99 crores of rupees were exchanged in the slow transaction on this day.
According to sources, on Thursday (October 24) one and a half hours after the start of DSE trading i.e. up to 11:30 am, the main index of DSE or ‘DSEX’ is down by 34.77 points at 5 thousand 135 points.
Along with the main index, the Shariah Index or ‘DSES’ has decreased by 11.57 points and the ‘DS-30’ index has decreased by 13.29 points at 1151 and 1879 points respectively.
A total of 99 crore 84 lakh shares and units were traded in DSE during the discussion period.
Among the traded companies, the share prices of 88 companies increased, 224 companies decreased and 67 companies remained unchanged.
