Market capital increased by 15 thousand crores.

In the outgoing week, indices traded higher in mixed conditions. Shares and unit prices of most companies fell during the week. Market capitalization of Tk 15,510,000 was added during the week.

It is known that the market capitalization in DSE before the start of trading on the first working day of the outgoing week was Tk 7 lakh 3 91 crore 30 thousand. Which stood at 7 lakh 8 thousand 964 crore 40 thousand taka at the end of the last working day of the week. That is, the market capital has increased by 15 thousand 51 crore 10 thousand taka in the span of a week.

6 thousand 411 crore 13 lakh taka were traded in DSE in the outgoing week. 3 thousand 339 crore 86 lakh taka was made in the previous week. That is, the transaction in DSE has increased by 3 thousand 712 crore 70 lakh taka during the week.

During the week, the main index of DSE, DSEX, fell by 20 points to 5,903 points. Among other indices, DSE Shariah index decreased by 10 points and DSE-30 index increased by 46 points to 1 thousand 274 points and 2 thousand 132 points respectively.

A total of 398 firms participated in share and unit trading on DSE during the outgoing week. Share and unit prices of 105 rose, 278 fell and 15 remained unchanged among institutions.
