The main index on the DSE fell another 60 points today.

The stock market of the country has been falling due to the ongoing instability in the country and the economic sector. The index has been trading lower for the past few days. Ordinary investors do not see any hope in that. On the other hand, selling pressure on shares continued to fall at regular intervals and the index continued to decline.

It can be seen that on the third working day of the week, the main stock market of the country, Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE), ended the trading with a negative trend. On this day, the main index fell by another 60 points. DSE lost 53 points the previous day. Besides, the transactions have decreased compared to the previous working day.

According to sources, DSE’s main index ‘DSEX’ fell by 60.71 points on Tuesday (July 30). Currently the index stands at 5 thousand 269 points.

Besides, another index of DSE ‘DSES’ has decreased by 14.86 points to 1151 points and ‘DS-30’ index has decreased by 20.89 points to 1881 points.

Shares and units worth Tk 432 crore 69 lakh were traded in DSE today. 450 crore 18 lakh taka was traded on the previous working day.

A total of 397 shares and units of companies were exchanged on DSE on Tuesday. Among the institutions that participated in the transaction, 25 companies rose in price, while 340 companies fell in price. Besides, the share and unit prices of 32 companies were unchanged.
