BUET IWFM organizes training on Climate Resilient Infrastructure Development for LGED Engineers

Training was organized at the Institute of Water and Flood Management of Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology (BUET) with the objective of increasing the ability of Local Government Engineering Department (LGED) engineers in climate change data downloading, processing, and analysis in formulating, designing and implementing climate resilient infrastructure development plans.

LGED Additional Chief Engineer Gopal Krishna Debnath inaugurated the training in the training room of Institute of Water and Flood Management of Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology (BUET) on Saturday.

Abdul Hakim, Additional Chief Engineer of LGED and Director of  Crelic, Nazmul Hasan Chowdhury, Project Director of CRIM Project, Prof. Dr. Asad Hussain, Director of BUET-IWFM, Course Director of the Training Course, Prof. Dr. Shahjahan Mondal and Team Leader of IDC Crelic, Dr. Daan Boom were present as special guests at the inauguration ceremony.
