Islami Bank Bangladesh PLC organised a webinar on “Compliance of Shariah in Banking Operations” last Wednesday.

The bank’s Vice Chairman Dr Tanveer Ahmad addressed the webinar as the chief guest. Presided over by the bank’s Managing Director Mohammed Monirul Moula, Mawlana Obaid Ullah Hamzah, Chairman of the Shariah Supervisory Committee of the bank, addressed the webinar as the chief discussant.

Dr Mohammad Abdus Samad, member secretary of the Shariah Supervisory Committee, addressed the webinar as the special guest.

Additional Managing Director Muhammad Qaisar Ali delivered the welcome speech while Executive Vice President Md Shamsuddoha presented keynote.
